?”Should African leaders have expected their citizens in Ukraine to be protected during the war or should they have removed their citizens from Ukraine immediately the crisis began? Whose fault is it that Africans in Ukraine are affected by the crisis? What do you think?”?

In crisis situations, most of the time, the nationals of these countries affected by the crisis will be given preferential treatment. It’s just so happens and debating the fairness of this will lead to no where. Further more, racist and other things Perpetrated by a few soon get into the mix and that is what African who are studying/living in Ukraine have got to deal with.
The response from African leaders is to evacuate their citizens first then complain to be addressed, such inhumane treatments of their citizens base on their color or nationality or religious beliefs. But such treatments we have seen by Ukraine and Poland are indicators to show how humans perceive others.

This is a very insightful response. The most important thing i got from your response is, actions before complaining which is very vital. But then what if the different African countries lack resources to evacuate their citizens out of the crisis zone. This brings me to this question, Do African countries have allocated funds reserved for situations like this?

African leaders should take the responsibility for the citizens nomatter where their citizens go.
